Jim Rohn does an excellent explanation of what we as humans are each a remix of. His clever saying, “You are the average of five people you spend the most time with” basically says we are five people into one, influenced one way or another to mold into the person we are today. I can simply say I agree completely because I believe three of the people I am a remix of are very close to me as relative. My mother, father, brother, and two uncles, all have excellent work ethic. The determination, I believe comes from mostly my mother, who easily argues her point as woman, and my father, who is determined to be successful. Both of my parents risk things many times for the ones that they love, just as I do for friends I love and care for most. My top two characteristics would definitely be the two of these, loving and caring for others, and hard work and determination to get things done and be just as successful as my multimillion dollar uncle, successful father, mother who is on the Texas Board of Health, and my two hard working brothers. I believe that there is parts of you that can be original because everything we do is what we choose on our own, even if it was influenced one way or another. Although, how we are raised affects how we act and who we are today. Even if we choose our own decisions, and our actions may be because of what we learned about others or how we have been taught, they were still remixes from what we learned ourselves.
